This was extremely well written and so heartbreaking. I'm a huge Paul/Mellie fan and this glimpse into the scene was just amazing. I really, really love the characterization as well. I could see the interaction play out in my head. So , as far as I'm concerned: mission accomplished.

You must write more. Ballard is all scary and broken now, and you seem to be very proficient at exploring that. I'm not giving you a choice, you are making additional chapters. Follow Madeline as she readjusts to life, all while being harrassed by Ballard who is now a creeper. (If it's not too much trouble, could there also be whumpage. You just know we all loved the Boyd-Ballard fight scene.)

That was wonderful. I got all misty eyed during that scene as well, so finding this fleshed out version was a happy treat. I also loved the Gilmore Girls reference - that scene from Omega is what spurred me to venture into Dollhouse fanfic for the first time (looking for something like this). Normally the only fanfic I read is Gilmore Girls. It was a slightly trippy moment for me.

Anyways, back to the point: wonderfully written and executed story. I feel like you completely nailed everything the writers were giving us in the show. And the lasagna thing at the end was perfection.

Now I'm going to go check out your other stories.
