Reading this story just reminds me how freaking annoying Katara was as a character. Didn't detract from my enjoyment though. Good fic.

Wow.. just plain wow. Awesome story. usually i'm a zutara and taang fan but for your story, i could definitely make an exception. Though i still don't like Maiko... Anyway, i totally love, love , love your story. Very beautiful and well written. You could be an author someday with this kind of writing skill. It would be awesome if your story was made into a show. totally awesome.

This entire story is very elegantly written. It manages to take an original tale and truly make it new again. Despite being put into opposite roles, Zuko and Aang remain essentially the same as originally intended, but with different levels of maturity. The tale completely emerges readers in this familiar, yet foreign feeling. Even though the story follows a similar plot line, it presents every scene with new twists and turns that keep the reader coming back for more. There were no apparent plot holes, nor were there any questions left unanswered. There is a very capable artist joining the artistic world of story telling.

Ok I have this story was pretty damn epic, and that means a lot coming from me since I usually hate AU type stories but I seriously liked this story a lot. Anyways not to tell you what to do or anything but I seriously think you need to make a sequel to this or something because I believe you can do so much more with AU you have created here.

This entire story can be easily described in two words. Epic. Win.

I thought it was odd that I stopped getting notifications, it's been busy and I haven't had time to read. But WOW, what a finish.

First off, I loved how you added the whole volcanic eruption thing because it seriously worked out really well. Though Azula had a sad end, I thought it was fulfilling as well because she had finally come to terms with herself about her mom. And unlike the canon Azula, this one was damaged long ago and committed even worse atrocities. So I'm glad she wasn't murdered but sad to see that she still died in the end. The fact that such a natural event dictated the end to the war, I thought, was very creative as well. It showed that it was time for the war to end in nature and a new era to begin from all the destruction. I liked the new idea of rebuilding a whole nation rather than changing an old one.

I also love how you added Ty Lee into the mix. She had lost Mai, which even though was a really sad had a nice effect on the overall plot of the whole story. I also liked how she still remained true to Azula in the end and gained a new set of truly caring friends. Especially the last bit about how she wanted to be unique all the time, and now that she was, there was nothing to be happy about.

I especially like the change in Zuko. In the beginning, frankly, Zuko was a totaly **. I didn't like reading him much and he was so unbearable at the beginning. But you showed how each even has changed him with skill and it was very well thought out. I love this Zuko now and he has definitely grown up without losing who he was at the same time. Props! That isn't an easy task, considering he needs to be a jerk and wise at the same time. He's just changed with everything around him so realistically.

I can go on and on but I think I'll stop here. I absolutely loved this series. This was probably the one fanfiction that I looked forward to read every update. You're writing style is so pleasant to read because it's simple and at the same time very smooth. The details and at the same time the big picture was never missed. The plot manipulation worked out so well and everything fit so well together. I just lovelovelove this piece =) It's sad to see it end, but it was worth the read and even the wait (even though the wait was never too long). Good job and I look forward to reading you're future works!

Wow, seriously epic story. The AU setting and characterisations were totally plausible and wonderfully presented, I especially loved your take on all the relationships, both romantic and non-romantic - like with all your stories, one of my favourite aspects was the Zuko-Aang friendship but the romance was great too - it makes sense that after Mai, Toph would be the best person for Zuko since she doesn't put up with his crap lol. Amazing read, thank you so much for writing it.

Wow, this was amazing...took me like four days to read it. It was a very enjoyable story; fun to read how different everything would be just by switching Zuko and Aang. No helping Azula though..she ended up even crazier. Well, thank you for writing this wonderful story. Was a definite page turner..or scroll downer? Whatever the appropriate term would be.

Wow. This story is amazing. It's such a well thought out AU. You even made me tear up at parts. I think this is maybe the 4th or 5th time a fanfic has done this.

I even think I like your characterization better than they did it in the show. Certainly I enjoyed the romances better, which were well-thought out and intriguing. Never cared for them in the show, but I could totally go for Kataang and Maiko here. Even the Toko you were introducing at the end... You made Suki and Ty Lee interesting characters that I cared about. And Sokka's romance with Suki also made more sense. Even Azula's craziness was done better, and it was all the more heartbreaking for it.

I suppose if there was one thing I could complain about, it was that the story didn't flow as smoothly as the show, and some characters (such as the swampbenders) were left out. But really. Simply amazing, this could have worked just as well if it was made into a show, and in a way Zuko even makes more sense as the last airbender. Thanks for the great read.
