Darker and more angsty, but very compelling. It's interesting to watch your altered characters play off of each other. Edward's uncertainty against a stronger more independent Bella...who called him on the stalker thing. Very well done.

So, what actually happened when Edward crossed the Treaty Line? And who killed Mike Newton? That was sloppily done. I don't think it was newborns, otherwise there wouldn't have been just one body. There'd have been a dozen. So, older vampires who don't give a damn...or who have a grudge that they're expressing by feeding and leaving corpses on Cullen turf.

A look forward to finding out what's happening.

Okay, I was waiting until the end to feedback. This was a pretty good AU, right up to these last two chapters, when you really completely knocked it out of the park. Bella's confession, and Edward's reaction to it took things to a whole new level. Grand slam home run.

The bond is sealed. They're mates now, if they weren't before. All that remains is to deal with the Mutts.

Just wanted to tell you how utterly amazing this fic is.

Seriously. I am a self-confessed Twilight-hater after (shamefully) loving it for maybe a week before realising how completely unamazing Bella Swan was. I mean, of all the fish in the water, why on Earth would Edward, supposedly this perfect guy whose only drawbacks are the fact that he WANTS TO EAT HER and is the most melodramatic guy I've ever heard of, want to be with her?

After chancing upon this fic quite by accident and not even realising it was a remake of Twilight until, what, the third chapter, you totally made me rediscover what I liked about that novel. Actually, scratch that. Your fic totally REPLACES the real novel, in my opinion.

You are a goddamned excellent writer, and if you just changed some names, tweaked the plot a little, you could totally publish it. That's how awesome you are.

Seriously, PLEASE update soon. For some crazy reason, I LOVE this fic and your writing!

I have enjoyed reading this so much. I am so sorry you are not continuing it. It is beautifully written. It is amazing to me to think that you are not a native English speaker. You must realize that you write in English far better than most people who have spoken this language their whole lives - just simple things like grammar and word useage, as well as plot and character. It's great to see a strong, mature Bella who actually communicates with Edward. It would be wonderful if you were able to add more to this story at some point. I'll try your other stories - but I do have a weakness for the vamp stories.

I loved Bella's come back to Billy it was just sooooo perfect! and I am wondering what Edward and Carlisle needed to talk about after the big chat :)

Poor Mike... the nice guy always seems to get the short stick but what can ya do. I like how Edward and Bella comforted each other and just the general confusion going on with the family and poor Alice. Looking forward to reading on and seeing what went down. :)

I really hope the Mike Newton thing doesn't come back to bite them in the ass. It was definitely meant with good intentions, but you know what they say about good intentions...
