Really good capturing of these two monsters talking, with so much history and so much between them. Snape's last comment was truly golden: How much do he really trust Lupin or himself?

That was very nice. Very credible dialogue and beautiful use of language - I really enjoyed it. I liked the conclusion that they are both outcasts in some way, but both caring about Harry as well as both being trusted by Dumbledore. True, yes, but also thoughtful. Mmhh. :-)

Add it to the C2 for Snape Shortfics, this one needs to be spreaded.. :-)
