I can't really give you a grade, because it's really hard on FFN, because some people are amateur and some people are near-professional, so it skews the curve.

The story was readable. A lot aren't. They're awkward. Yours I could read without stopping every three seconds to make a note of a grammar mistake, stilted statement, etc.

The story was nice. While it didn't have a lot of depth, it was a more-than-decent character study. I enjoyed it and have very few criticisms.

Lana's explanation for why she was with Clark was far too intellectual. Too thought out for a spur of the moment response to a question.

There were a couple of statement that seemed cliche, but not overly so, so I won't fault you on it.

Whitney was given too much maturity. While I'll accept that he saw the breakup coming, and even that he dealt with it maturely, his accepting the relationship so coolly is very OOC for Whitney, who would likely get angry at Clark and Lana's insta-relationship.

As a parting note, your Whitney and Chloe connection scene was good. You didn't delve into Chlitney-ness unnecessarily. Good job. Please, please continue writing.

Man, but this was a freakin' depressing story!

Chloe is so much better than Lana, and Clark doesn't deserve a girl as cool as Chloe. I just hope that one day, Chloe finds a man who will realize how wonderful she is, because it clearly isn't Clark,

oh gosh...poor chloe...i'm one of those people who hope that someday clark will get over lana and realize that chloe's the one for him...all in all a successful sad unrequited love kinda thing...nice

Aww, poor Chloe. I'm totally one for Chloe and Clark hooking up. The fic was a tad cliche but still was nicely poignant.

Oh, that's niiice... Sad about Chloe though. BUT THAT'S OKAY! Clark's with Lana, that's what matters. :)
