And your description of the area surrounding the Navy Yard answered a lifelong question for me...what the h-e-double-toothpicks happened to that neighborhood? In my time, outside of the few buildings belonging to the Yard itself, it was mostly just empty lots, with a few old tenements that looked like they'd been abandoned forever. My brother tells me it hasn't changed, despite the massive changes that have taken place in the rest of that corner of Brooklyn.

So Bill kinda had a little of the "QL" theory in his thoughts? I like that! :) Only Phineas would know George..hee hee. I like how in this a/u you have actual historial personas as Voyagers themselves. It really makes you think - what if, ya know?!

They both have some keen eyes to see that the cabbie was Mikey, and very quick on the uptake that Susan might be in trouble. So very exciting to see Bogg let Jeff see the secret compartments he has in the house, and have him get in on the action...Don't leave me hanging on what's going to happen next!

p.s. no wax in Bogg's ear, can hear Jeff playing with the Time Machine...LOL

That's a good idea that the Voyagers are among all different societies and work forces. It could pay to have allies within law enforcement when dealing with Drake.

Like Bogg could really tell Jeff ALL that he knows about Time Travel. That's why Bogg went to the Academy!! Though Bogg is right, people sure will think that Jeff's got a few screws loose if he tells people about the machine. So I think that secret might be safe for now.

Mikey and Drake trying to work together. Now that a Rotten Combo if ever I saw one. OMG so not good that Drake is going to go after every one. They better be careful, perhaps once Bogg gets to the Academy he'll be able to warn them to be on the lookout!!

And you've given be goosebumps, girl...Brooklyn Navy Yard? Now you're in my old stomping grounds-or at least, not far from them. The Navy yard on the west side of Kent Avenue, on the river, and ancillary buildings on the east side (at least in my time)... OMG, the memories you've stirred up! (You know, if you make a run to Borough Hall, you could probably pick up some old zoning maps to find out exactly what each and every building in your story was. Maybe not by name, but at least by function. ;D)

Ah yes, the perplexed Phineas! :D I bet he hardly got any sleep after what happened to them on their 1st adventure. Isn't it always the way that the friendly house servants find what you are looking for. I guess sometimes it pays to pay attention!

Got two little nits to pick here. The phrase is "formally introduced," instead of "formerly" (which means "earlier"); and the "male nightdress" is, quite simply, a nightshirt. And, oh, what a picture! Poor Jeff was probably all tangled up in it; it had to be one of Bogg's, and you could probably put two, or even three, of Jeff into it! LOL

I am really getting wrapped up in this; like PoT-1, the mood and the images stay with me all day after I've read an installment, and that's what you want. Brava, girl!
