Lovely story. I think you've done a good job capturing their relationship.

Very, very good. Sweet, painful, and evocative. There are a few awkwardly-constructed sentences here and there that need clean-up, and a few adjectives that probably need pruning. Other than those extremely minor flaws, this is what fan fiction should be.
