Y'know. As I read this Muse's "Apocalypse Please" is playing. As I started the fist line it was the verse: This is the end of the world.

Anyway.

I must say that the last little segment is what really sold this story. How happy his day began and the bit 'bout the grocery shopping? Very nice touch.

I liked it.
