Lol. Another great story, full of great interactions between the characters. Jim and Bones indeed had a somwhat antagonistic friendship in the movie, although you could easily feel the affection and caring underneath. Spock telling Pike he did not wish to kick puppy Jim was too funny :-D

I *finally* got to see the film today, so I could finally read this story that's been floating in my inbox for nearly a week!

Excellent film and this was a great tag. You caught the humour- with Bones yet again drugging Jim and Spock getting his own one liners in :). And you also caught the Jim/Bones friendship and the fledgling friendship between Kirk and Spock. Nicely done.
