i love this story...

I hate stories which involve Spuffy but this chapter was hilarious:d

People are ridiculous sometimes. Honestly. This was a fabulous story! Very cathartic for those of us who couldn't stand Season 6 Spike. Although honestly, in the interest of self-preservation, I haven't actually WATCHED most of Season 6. I saw the kiss in OMWF, freaked, and ran the other way. I saw Grave though! Anyway, I like Spike as a character till the end of Season 5. I've heard that he was really helpful to Buffy till Episode 6.03, so maybe till then.
Anyway, what I just don't understand is how people absolutely adore such a violent relationship. I mean, they freakin' beat each other up! How the HELL is this true love?
Also, on a side note, I'm terribly confused. Who is the real Buffy and what's the whole deal with LA?

Shallang, criticizing other people for not writing stories is a bit much when you conceal your identity behind anonymous vitriol. No one is more of a loser than someone who sets standards for others that they refuse to meet.

Great story, Spike deserved every bit of what they did to him and more.

Is it 'cos you have no friends and the only way to fill your time is to stalk authors and review their fics even though you don't like them? God, you're some sad waste of space. Do you eat babies? Or kittens? Or any other cute, adorable, happy little woodland animals? Because stories about your adventures in the cuter cuisine would be much more comical, and much much less depressing, than this pile of radioactive tin cans. As a perk you could say that your adventures were a biography! Oh, I can picture a scene now.

Umm... so Buffy WASN'T in LA for two months? That was just a lie for Spike, right? Because otherwise how would they explain to Buffy (who'd been away for two months) that Giles had up and left, yeah? *is dizzy*

I loved the way the Scoobies confused Spike. It was hilarious! You almost had me feeling sorry for him. Almost.

Hmmm...I admit I read all the reviews before I read the story. And I was almost scared to continue on! But after reading the whole thing, I don't understand what all the fuss is about. I mean, I thought it was a good story. Yeah, it was a little mean to Spike, (and I'm a Spike fan!)But I honestly felt that it wasn't really out of character for anyone. Spike seemed very true to character (pathetic, yes) But honestly, he can be very pathetic when it comes to love. I liked your story. I thought it was funny, and well written, and I'm sorry so many people hated it. I fully prepared myself to hate this, and join in on the bashing of your story..But I don't see it. I liked it. So don't listen to those who bashed your work. :)

I don't object to the Scooby gang taking issue with a character when his/her actions inspire it. I'm not even a huge Spike fan. Certainly not a B/S shipper. But for the love of God, when you gut the characters and turn them into people we don't recognise for the sake of your own personal catharsis it makes for the worst kind of fanfiction. Fanfiction should be about expanding on the world another has created. Exploring the characters and their possibilities. Fanfic is not and should not be about giving someone a platform to air their own agenda. If you hate Spike so much, I'm frankly amazed you can even watch the show.

I usually don't give negative reviews, but in your case, I'll make an exception. This was dumb. Very dumb. It made my head hurt. What purpose does this serve? This was about as efficient as typing: "I HATE SPIKE!" ten thousand times, and about as interesting. You have the grasp of grammar down, so that's a point in your favor; but this type of character bashing is unnecessary, and more importantly, UNINTERESTING!
