That was so sweet! The ending was so unexpected and really well done as well. Are you thinking of writing a sequel? I think another would be great, having Klu find out would be funny ;-)

Brilliant writing just as I expected from you. I like how the story is presented through the eyes of Klu; it's nice to see how an outsider would perceive Artemis and Holly's relationship, especially one not close to them and unfamiliar with their history. I can imagine why Klu would misunderstand, and how, ironically, he was correct in his assumptions, excluding the human mesmer part.

And the epilogue was lovely :) I love Holly's exhilaration at being back on the surface, and in particular, at Fowl Manor; her short exchange with Foaly; Artemis's words - "But you could come," he said quietly. "You will always be welcome here." ; and the eyes, the interchanged eyes which will forever remind them that they each possess a part of the other. It was so personal, from Holly's view and just between the two of them (save Foaly's interruption); there was just something magical about it. Beautiful.
