Z - liked this. Sam really does have some wising up and apologising to do, to say the least. I liked the way Dean took charge of the practicalities regarding Cindy - just like in the old days.

Fear might have made Sam believe in Ruby initially - but it became something more than that, as time went by. I guess as a knock-on of drinking the blood, or because of his 'successes' with the demon vanquishing, but he knows how close he came to opening those old internal floodgates.

I really hope Cindy is still alive.

The Sammy angst was perfect. Are you maybe thinking about writing a tag to your tag, or Dean's thoughts in all of this? I'd be really excited to see either/both! ;P

I know that Sam is going to go through a ton of psychological crap when the series returns and I am hoping that the writers will deal with that. But the most important thing is that he and Dean are back together. Whatever comes forth now they will handle together. And, for me, that is all that matters. Thanks for your story.
