I really like this story so far, and I'm interested in seeing what will happen next haha. The only thing I found was that maybe the pace was a bit slow at the beginning when the attacks at the uni campus started happening - as soon as the readers found out how the victims were killed then of course the answer would have been vampires. Maybe you should have made up a little side-story about the media making absurd claims about the attacks but then in reality nobody really believed it? I don't know.

Other than that, it's a great story. :D

I don't want this to sound mean or anything but, I really laughed out loud when I read that his sister's name is "Juanita." What made you pick that name out of all the other possibilities? It's not even that similar to Janelle, except that it starts with a J.
