So sad! I'm such a hopeless romantic and I really love your other tales where the boys are happily in love.

However, this tragic fic was so full of feeling that it grabbed hold and didn't let go until the end. It was also well written and thought out with just the right amount of angst flowing through. Excellent job girls.

i think this might just be your first morbidly beautiful love story in ages. i'm so used to your comedy and pure fluffy crack that this fic was a bit hard to consume.

but i love it anyway.

the sentences you guys used were simple and straight to the point, which made them sharper than they really were.

And years passed, and he grew up, and Lelouch grew up, and when they were eighteen, he killed Lelouch.

i adore that line. so blunt so cold so beautiful. really now.. suzaku's final scene made me think macabre thoughts about life at the palace after lelouch's death. i can just imagine the staffs and courtiers being chilled to the bone having to live under the same roof as a man mad with grief. suzaku, i imagine, is a lucid insane man after he killed lelouch.
