I was so happy when I found this story! I wanted to read about Alice's life after she was changed and when she found Jasper and finally when they met the Cullens and you did a wonderful job writing this story. It's simply amazing :D

Please excuse my harsh attitude, but I can't help but being upset. Kate doesn't not sense lies! That's Maggie of the Irish coven! Kate shocks people! Ugg, I hate when people get gifts wrong! Gah, I really, really hate it! Good story though, it's just the little things like that that get to me. I love your story, very, very! good.

I'm really liking your story so far. I know you posted it years ago. But I thought you might appreciate a comment from a fresh perspective.

So far the only thing that doesn't sit right with me is how Peter was talking about humans in this chapter. I know they hunt the usual way. But Jasper was clear that the vampires in the southern armies saw people like cattle. And I could never imagine someone talking about cattle that way. They'd be crazy! "I have the power to decide who lives and who dies! Bessie will give milk, but Bluebell will be dinner! Mwa ha ha!" lol Peter and Charlotte don't think evil superior thoughts over their prey, any more than a lion would feel wickedly superior over a zebra. It's just food.

That's all. And, like I said, I know you wrote this a long time ago. You might not even be checking your reviews anymore, for all I know.

But I have added this story to my C2(community), if you subscribe to it it will come up higher in searches and help more people find this delightful work. I really do love it.

Beautiful! Absolutely, heartbreakingly BEAUTIFUL story! I love EVERY SINGLE chapter! You are an awesome, awesome, awesome... infinitely awesome writer! You build up their history so nicely, and I am amazed at how well you managed keep the tension throughout such a long story.

The portrayal of Alice's enthusiasm and quick mind, and Jasper's military life and the rest of the Cullen family is fantastically canon. I especially found Edward's personality through Alice's eyes refreshing as compared to reading it through Bella's "in-love" point-of-view. I really like how you explored the unique sibling relationship between Edward and Alice - the way they can read each other so fast and the way Edward shares his hobbies with Alice - chess and piano. He's fiercely protective of her in a sibling-like way that is lovely.

Most of all, I love the emotional depth in your story. I feel sorry I didn't find it earlier. Congratulations (3 years late...) on finishing it!

PS. I noticed that your prediction of Jasper's perception of newborn Bella is jarringly accurate o.o He WAS waiting for her to be the weakest link rather than himself!

This was one of the first Twilight fics that I read and it made a very good impression. Beautifully written and lovely character development.

I read this story almost in one sitting. :) It was a nice change of pace from my normal Twilight story choices and I enjoyed it throughly.
