I just spent the last day and a half glued to my computer screen reading this...my eyes going blurry and everything from staring at it for so long. Seriously. It was such a beautifully told story. I loved every minute of it. I love how you made the relationship between Jasper and Alice out to be - the devotion, the trust, the vulnerability...all of it was just wonderful. Oh and a lot of the moments between Edward and Alice had me laughing. Their friendship was captured so perfectly. This was such a beautiful and sweet story! Thank you for writing and sharing this :)

I can most defiantly see this as a book that came first in the Twilight Series. I loved it so much. It had a perfect amount of humour, love, sadness, passion as anything I have ever read! I've just finished reading it... and I absolutely adore it!! It has become one of my favourites fics ever... I'm actually kind of sad because I finished it (I've been actually obsessed with this fic for 3 days, I even went to sleep really late because I needed to continue reading it =P). I love this story so much whenever i read another alice and jasper fic most of the time i end up changing it in my mind so that it ties in with this story i feel as if this is the true story of alice and jasper before twilight came .

I am enjoying your story. I really love Alice and Jasper and I like the way that you are portraying their history together. I can really feel the "spark" between them!

I am curious as to the year that this piece takes place. I have the impression that it is in the 40's? Although it was a popular vacation destination, casinos didn't exist in Atlantic City until 1977. My family went to Atlantic City every summer and I remember being a teen when gambling was made legal there. My father's cousin, who lived there, got a job as a croupier in one of the first casinos that opened. Just a bit of trivia for you.

I love how you actually finished this story, I just now found it and it's amazing, I've been reading it for the past couple of days and I love it completely! Right now I can't think of another story that would be before Twilight for Alice and Jasper.

You really did a great job and I really felt all of the emotion for everything that you wanted to put across in the story.
