Beautiful story, stuffy! I like that Lindsay is the rational one but then I totally get where Danny is coming. He wants to protect them, that's the Papa Bear in him.

Can I just say diddo to what laurzz said? I feel the same way. This was wonderful. I adore the intimacy of them in bed together just staring at one another and maintaining tactile contact the whole time and the love they share for Lucy. Beautiful!

It was truly fantastic and made of awesome sauce. You have such a beautiful way of writing that I love. So descriptive and sophisticated!

I think the whole story - from beginning to end was amazing. I found it extremely bittersweet. The Messer's sharing such an intimate moment, that will probably last in their minds forever because of a tragic accident.

Moo - what an adorable nickname. (I knew as soon as I read the nickname who it had been inspired by - *giggle* but really it worked for Danny and Lindsay's Lucy. The MOO card was such a groundbreaking moment for DL - and what it stands for, is very sweet. I like the link you made there, even if it was inspired from that beautiful little girl you know :)

A very touching story. I hope Danny and Lindsay never experience what it would be to lose each other. But the way Danny took comfort from Lucy or Lu-Moo (such cute nickname) was inspiring. He now knows to let the people he loves in. Plus, it doesn't help that Lucy can't talk back yet. And showing Lindsay's faith in Danny was wonderful. She also knows now that together they can do anything, but to cherish the little moments in case they aren't around for the end. You captured all of their feelings perfectly. :) Favorite line "They could make the other’s skin come alive with their touch and kisses."
