I liked meeting Fred, and seeing some of his life. I didn't get how they solved the yacht case. Was that just in passing?

Hey, I read this a while ago on WiS, but just reread it. I always appreciate someone taking an underdeveloped aspect of the show and filling in detail. Always creative, and you're good at it. We never learned much about Fred or what he was doing when not toting about RS, so this was interesting. You write the non-quotes well, so I would always like to see more description and thoughts balanced with the dialog. Thank you for posting.
