Okay, interesting. I hate to say it, but the whole acceptance thing was too easy and Jason getting the sword and it glowing was too cliche!

I just found your story. I think that it's great. I can hardly wait for more.

Wait, what does Giles mean that Buffy is the Slayer when she grows up? In 1981, Buffy's simply just a POTENTIAL future Slayer, if she's EVER called between age 15-18, and that's only one girl who's mystically automatically chosen out of thousands once the previous Slayer dies. If she's any older than that, then she's off the Slayer roster and will never caleld. *lol* So how would Giles and Joyce if Buffy WILL become a Slayer when she's old enough, if she's just a little kid when Jason was given to Giles?

Remember to use punctuations once in awhile. The first paragraph for example:

As everything was talked over, Jason sat with Buffy close to him. This surprised both Joyce and Giles as they expected that as soon as Jason was told he was not a Summers, he would be hurt and wanted nothing to do with Joyce or Giles. But then again, they remembered that the removal of the memory charm they had placed on Jason would not have taken away his memories. Instead, it would just allow Jason to recall what happenend that night(?).

Something like that. Breaking up the sentences just makes the story easier to read :) Looking forward to the next chappie.

So how does Joyce and Giles know each other? And why didn't the Council snatch Buffy if they were aware that she is a potential? And how do they know she's going to be a slayer in the near future? Unless there's a prophecy foretelling it or what not... Hope these would be explained in later chapters? If not, that's okay, I can live with that :P
