I found your author page because you're a fan of a fan of mine and I figure all Malfoy lovers should stick together :).

I think that Narcissa is perfectly in character here; her anger at the Dark Lord and even at the husband she loves but who isn't here to save their family from this situation is spot on. I enjoyed very much.

I love Love LOVE the Malfoys (write them every day just about) and I appreciate the job you've done here.

I don't find Cissy's OOC. I'm pretty sure she turned on voldemort that second he put her son's life in danger. She just never admits it for obvious reasons. So is this going to be a multi chaptered? I hope so it's good.

How is this going to be an AU? And i don't care if i'm spoiled. And poor Narcissa ... she's not a best Occlumens, you know, so she better be careful with her thoughts. Even if the Dark Lord is too overconfident and would disregard her thoughts anyways. And you describe her emotions so well, i envy you. Ew, Snape! Sorry, i think Lia's extreme dislike for him is rubbing off on me. But so they're friends, or will be friends later? Hmm, lots to think about ... I'll be waiting for more!

Actually, I don't think Narcissa's resentment of the Dark Lord is out of character. She might not admit it even to herself, but it's there. It might have been from the beginning when Lucius' absence to go on missions would have been merely annoying, or newly formed now that both her husband and son are at risk. I'm not overly fond of the Narcissa/Severus pairing, even just platonic comfort, but, of course, if you do choose to continue this, I'll read and review and end up loving it. But you did set it up nicely as a oneshot as well, so it's really up to you. Love.

And you're so right! Narcissa does care more for her son than Voldydoo cause in the end she tells him that harry's dead when he's actually not?

Excellent idea and I liked how you wrote Narcissa as I imagined her protective over her son and worried about her husband locked up in prison unlike her mad sister who loved Voldemort. Please update soon thanks.

Oh interesting! A new story. Or is it a oneshot? It could work as either really.

Anyway - very emotional. I really feel for Narcissa here, and for Draco. I really got the sense that it was tearing her apart, the knowledge of how and why Draco was being punished, and that (even worse) there was nothing she could do. I'm not sure it would seem OOC for her to question the Dark Lord in this instance, because it's only in her head, and while that's risky enough (the Dark Lord being such a good Legilimens) I also think Voldemort would know, anyway, that she was unhappy about it. I think he'd be expecting her to be resentful and unhappy, because that was partly the point of the punishment - to hurt Lucius by making the people he loves hurt. So it wouldn't surprise him, and would probably simply amuse him, as he wouldn't think Narcissa had it in her power to take revenge on him in any way.

Nice of Snape to make sure she was okay, though I am a little bit confused - does she know Snape isn't really on Voldemort's side? Their conversation kind of gave me that impression, but then again, we know Snape was a family friend of theirs, so maybe it was just empathy and I was misreading it . . .

Anyway, this interesting, especially if it's AU. I'd look forward to seeing what you do with that if it is a chapter fic.
