Oh this was brilliant--I loved how you included the *why* for Ash, gave him more of a role than a character there to simply bring Makoto to the future, how you made the whole mystery about the painting and why Chiaki wanted to see it so badly make sense with one, simple sentence.

I just watched this movie and I am OBSESSED with the subject matter. I can't imagine what's going to happen, and I want to know what will happen. Chiaki's future is grim and forboding; there's not much of a cause for celebration in their reunion if the world is destroyed.

Love this; am waiting on the edge of my seat for the next part!
