I thought it was good, the end was kinda loose but it's understandable. Sometimes when I drool over Marui I wonder at the back of my mind if he is really so self-absorbed as to really think he is a genius, but I like the interpretation you put in.

whoaw. that was deep. i think everyone in prince of tennis forgot about that one thing. but it's more when you are in Rikkai due to the fact that they don't accept defeat. sigh. i never thought marui felt that he had no exact place in the team.

anyway, aside from that. this one is pretty well written.

This is definitely a take on Rikkai that I've seen a few times, but never with this much deapth or with Marui The whole idea though, of never playing for themselves, is completely true. Even though it makes me a bit sad to remembe that Marui isn't AS good as the rest (sob). Anyway, as always it's pratically dead on with the characterization and it's written so well :)
