o_o Well, anyone who was abused in their childhood can kiss my pity goodbye, because GOD DAMN is that sad! And really really really really really REALLY weird. And extremely well written, just like everything you do... HOW do you DO that?! D:

So Crocodile Hunter D isn't my thang, but you are, so I decided to check this out. And I'm not sorry I did - that was sick and amusing all at the same time.

The vampires as addicts is an interesting way to look at it. "No matter how smart an addict is, they are always stupid." Too true. Have you ever read James Frey's 'A Million Little Pieces.' It's a great read.

Encouraging a man to talk about himself must've been in Luna's copy of "A Nymph's Guide to Seducing a Man," cuz that certainly seems to be y'all's favorite pastime. But I'm guessing the manual left out any helpful advice on how to effectively respond to answers anything like D's - which were so sad and bizarre, but the fact that the sociopath delivered them in his customary "clincal and bored" tone made them positively hysterical.


Bravo to Shallowswan for creating the soft, caring Luna who may be the perfect offset to hardened D, and for ispiring a one shot by the brilliant, if a bit twisted Bootylicious.

OMFG! This was brilliant!! I've read Shallowswan's fic Illusions twice because I loved it so much but this...this I just cracked up! XD I love how its supposed to be this whole dark, serious matter but twisted with humour! I think my fav part had to be the bit about him fighting with the Dhampir homosexual XD OMG I laughed so hard.

I think poor Luna would be either on the edge of running away or crying and turning pyscho! Poor D, you just wanna hug him! ...and not get impaled by his shoulder spikes! lol.

I could tell within the the first few sentences that you've captured not only the tone of VHD, but the tone of my fictions quite wondefully.And of course givien them that wonderus humorus twist that only The Master can write. I had to appecaite you describing D as "bad to the bone."

And you've captured Luna quite well too! Poor girl...I felt rather bad for her having to listin to D's colorfully horrible history, when all she really wanted was to know a little about him.

But man...when D started to talk...I just couldn't stop laughing for the life of me! I swear, I am laughing so hard that my cat came over to see if I was okay. Dracula not being above bestality, and his sadistic sex with Mina...those just floored me. And I can definatly see a five year old D beating Dracula over the head with a baseball bat.

I love how D said "failed to become elevated." that is totally what he would say! "Scrotal contents" LOL! Damn, and a belt sander! I shutter to think way may have happened there. Yes that sounds about like Carmella, loved that you included her as well! And excellent job portaying Mina as a nutcase as well, honestly it sounds a bit like her to say something like that.

The flashback was just pure gold! I was overjoyed to see you included one of my trademark flashbacks, and you even did my thing of giving Dracula a touch of Alucard by mentioning the gloves. "Happy - happy!" LMAO! And lastly, I simply love the idea of D and Renesmee having a fling, I guess it works as they are both dhamphirs and both have some colorful parents.

So all in all, you've gone above and beyond my hopes for this. I was utterly honored when you told me your writing an AU oneshot on my works, and upon reading it I am just shell shocked at your excellent interpertion of both D and my little world for D. And really, I wouldn't say any of that converstaion was out of character for D...if annoyed he will do dramatic things just to shut pepole up, including tell distrubing stories. He's done that several times before, but they wern't personal stories of course. This fic very much embodies not only the more distrubing side of D, but it also reflects our hours and hours of conversations on vampires and how they behave. Thank you so so much for this!
