A very well-written story that showcased the deep friendship between our two guys. And Napoleon's way with wording things to his advantage even to Waverly [wink].

I've come back and read this story at least three times now... it is really good! I'm kicking myself for not having mentioned it earlier.

My favourite line--one of many, btw--
Something moved in the depths of Illya's gaze, the flash of a shark's fin at five hundred fathoms.
Reading this line gives me chills! The aquatic nature of the metaphor makes the conflict more potent!

That was excellently done. Completely in character and with some really sweet moments that were never over the top. Their usual banter had me grinning several times as well.

This was a sweet very hot story literally I enjoyed it immensely it spoke in volumes about friendship, partnership trust and loyalty and dare I say it love from one person to another thank you you also described the scenery wonderfully although I needed a drink halfway through it. I also was impressed with the mirages Angelique and Waverly it figures and the references to some old cases You managed to get Illya down to a T because like Napoleaon he would never leave his partner not if there is 1/100th of a 1/billionth upon infinity chance of survival together so again thank you and brava.

This was excellent because, as much as I like h/c, it's much more than that - it has character development, suspense, angst, and a character balance almost never seen on these pages.

You know I love this! My favorite is still Napoleon arguing with his mirages. Only he would have such audacity.

And brave, stubborn, pig headed little Russian. How can someone not just want to slap him silly, then take him home to...nurse him back to health...wink, wink, nudge, nudge

That was an interesting fandom; can't say I'd ever heard of The Man From U.N.C.L.E. before looking it up on wiki prior to reading this. Nobody does hurt comfort like X-parrot, so I thought I'd give it a read. I was really glad to get a notice that something new was posted by this author even though it wasn't from any of the fandoms that I prefer. I won't be favoriting this one, but I really liked the hallucination scene. The descriptions right before Napoleon passed out from heat stroke were really cool. Another good fic from a very good author. It's good to see you posting again, X-parrot!

Bravo! A good, meaty, in-character h/c that didn't veer into the maudlin as so many h/c stories do. Good detail, good characterization, entirely believable. I hope to see more in this fandom from you!

This is really good. I've been itching to read a long, meaty new UNCLE story for a while now. Hard to believe this is your first MFU story -- you really got it.
