I liked it. They could use much more Dinah and Bart in the episode.

i was hoping someone had written a story like this ;D thanks for the read! Doomsday was really just such a GREAT episode. love the Uncle Ted reference btw (Wildcat!) though i think for Smallville's Dinah I see a slightly different background than usual- between Clark, Ollie, and then with the whole focus on Zatanna trying to bring back her father, the 'dead dad' club of Smallville's heroes seems a touch big to be adding members (having it be her mom or something could work the same way while seeming a less identical origin story kinda thing.) i also really liked the whole 'maiden in distress complex' line and Dinah calling him Green Bean- she's got enough attitude on smallville to pull that off, i could definitely picture the lines being delivered. keeping my fingers crossed for some Dinah/Ollie in season 9!~ what with her finally calling him Ollie instead of Oliver and close-up shots of her looking at him concerned (especially the one at the funeral!) i really think they're setting that up :D for some reason i got the impression they'd all gone off somewhere together, but the splitting up scene you have here worked really well (and Gotham's a great choice of destination.) :) nice job, good luck & keep writing!

It's nice to see some Arrow/Canary fanfic here. Thanks. And I agree that she and Bart were WAY underused in the finale...add that to my heap of problems with the episode.

I think you have the characters down pretty well. I especially liked when Dinah called Oliver an alcoholic womanizer and claimed her opinion of him couldn't go any lower, but in general I liked her rapport with Oliver and how she's not afraid to challenge him (but not in a creepy "I'm only ever using you" Tess way...that relationship is definitely part of the damaged psyche your Dinah mentions).

I liked this so much I'm going to check out your other Smallville fics. :)

I love how you captured Dinah's point of view of all of the "Doomsday" plot. Someday she'll get better at getting through to Oliver.

I thought that Alaina and Kyle did a great job on that episode too.

I loved it, absolutely loved it. I always wondered what Bart's and Dinah's reactions were at the barn. Great work.
