These thirteen chapters have been absolutley wonderful. There is a certain air of professionalism surrounding you're work and if you wanted to I'm sure you could get this published. I do hope that you will post a new chapter on Fanfiction soon.

How can I even being to describe this masterpiece? It is just so beautiful and lovely and just perfect in every way. I had been waiting so long to read a story of such caliber, and you managed to make one about one of my favorite books of all time! I couldn’t be more delighted! F. Hodgson Burnett would be so proud and joyful that someone could portray his characters with such fidelity. It just blew me away, I’m still smiling at the quality and the execution and... just wow!
Congratulations, you are one of the most talented authors I’ve read in years! I laughed and cried and gasped and felt for the characters as much as I did in the original book. And I do hope you hurry and finish this wonderful story. You had me on the edge of my seat since chapter one! Please continue!

I thought this story was excellent. Although it's very vague in some parts about how Dickon and Colin went to war... when did they go to war? Maybe there should be a short chapter thrown in there that talks about how they leave for war, and when they leave, because that isn't very clear.

Where's the rest of it? It's great... I want to keep reading it. :D

Wow. This was probably the best chapter out of all of them. It's left me speechless. I was going to say something about it, but I've completely forgotten. It's completely blown me away.

This chapter seemed much more human. I liked it, although I do not feel the slightest bit sorry for Mary and Dickon being sort of apart for a week. My own relationship for the most part is long distance, and I only get to see him briefly, so I don't have too much sympathy. But I do like the humanity and the emotions in this chapter.

The sexual innuendos are still too strong...

Wow. This chapter was so thick with tension and awkwardness i could have cut it with a knife. If you do eventually turn this into a book, you should linger more on the suspense of waiting! But other than that, this chapter was very well done!

As for your question about the Great War, it happened, and it can't be ignored, but it shouldn't be a main force, because then hard cold reality overshadows the innocent magic that Francis Hodgson Burnett made for us.

I like how you explored primal instincts here, but it seems a bit too inappropriate for the time frame. It was a good chapter, and your consistancy with characters and feelings is wonderfully refreshing, but the sexual inuendos should really be saved for much later.

Now this chapter was tons and tons better. Rules of society were used and heeded. Seemed much more authentic than any of the other chapters.

And I suppose you're right. If it is just a fanfic, then it really wouldn't matter, but I like to take special care with mine, as if they would be published. I can't and won't say the same for everyone, as everyone has their own rules and own ways of doing things.

I've gotta admit, that garden kiss was really sweet, but it seemed a bit too lusty to be really romantic. However, that is just my personal opinion. And now I like Colin alot less.
