Wow. Loved this. Loved the title, love Henry's story and understanding and observation when he first sees House. Awesome job, very well written per ususal.

Ridiculously old fraud was my favorite fellow and I'm so glad to see him back! The fact that you picked him to run into House was just amazing because I could actually see how they could have been friends on the show.

I love the little details and the nurse's thoughts about the color of the bracelet. I was LMAO at the mental image of House taking someone hostage with a spoon.

Wow, this was totally out of the blue but amazing nonetheless.

Maybe I missed something in the beginning, but as soon as I read "67 years old" and traveling with his church, I immediately had it set in my mind that Henry was House's biological dad who looked like Sean Connery. It wasn't until House mentioned CTB and Henry nodded that I realized who it was. I admit it took me a bit to think back to S4 - it was Seriously Old Fraud, right?

I really liked his visit. The end is perfect because for some reason House decided to trust this guy after he shared.

I loved Henry. He was one of the ones I wished had stuck around, like in my mind I hoped he'd joined the poker club with the dry cleaner and accountant.

That was good. There are steps to being okay, and I guess that you have to pass them all to get to go. I like Henry. In a way, him and House really clicked. It was nice to see him back again, helping House out of a hole that he fell into a long time ago.

No, don't make this a one-shot! *pleads* Seriously, you're the only House author I read on a regular basis (even if my reviews sometimes annoy you) because you just have his character so wonderful. Yes, he's a jerk, but he's a vulnerable and oft-times FEARFUL jerk.

Also, ANY fic with Ridiculously Old Fraud is a bonus. I adore Henry and having him here is great. Would never have SEEN that backstory for him, but it works so well and explains all of his compassion and how he got to where he did in life.

I'd love to see him try to talk House through this because I think the one thing House needs more than anything in the world right now is more friends, and I was always disappointed that the series never pursued an ongoing friendship between the two when it was kind of hinted at that they MIGHT. The two are polar opposites, but they're polar opposites with a great deal in common ("You don't need someone to tell you what you're already thinking...)
