Nicely written. Powerfully emotive. But lacking absolutely anything to prove its a Doctor Who story save the fact it is in the Doctor Who category. It could be any two characters from any number of tv shows or films.

It almost seems its the middle or ending of a larger story. Perhaps you might flesh it out a bit.
