*Hugs in greeting!* Welcome to the drabble group!! :D This was an excellent first entry- I like your h/c alot! Definitely a sweet moment between the two. I laughed at Dean's 'bite your tongue heathen.' Great story!

First, welcome to the drabble challenge! I just posted my first one last week. This is a great start, I loved the wonderful brotherly moment you gave us here.

This made me laugh: "“You are a freak, Sammy,” Dean muttered, lightly nudging Sam’s knee with his elbow. “But it’s okay, because you’re our freak.”"

And this, too: "“I don’t hear anything, so either Dad’s killed the damn thing or we’re orphans.” Dean snorted mirthlessly. “Bite your tongue, heathen." LOL

I LOVED this: “You’re always steady for me, Dean,” he mumbled. “It’s about time I get to return the favor.” I love when Sam realizes all his brother has done for him.

Okay, season 2 quote: “It’s not even that bad.” From AHBL (I know this, cuz I just used it in a story, too. LOL)
