Awesome ending!

Loved all the brotherly moments in this one. But the last scene was the best! So heartbreaking and sweet all at the same time. Really wish we'd see that on the show.

Hate to see this one end but I can't wait to read more of Drifting.(hint, hint) :)

Great final chapter. So believable Sam's breakdown at the end, distraught at what he had done, believing Ruby and unknowingly setting Lucifer free. At least he has Dean and Bobby as support as they face the coming months.
A really enjoyable read Denise.

Lovely final chapter overall, but in particular I loved Sam's breakdown at the end. I won't get S5 until January but I really hope to see something similar on the show, complete with Dean's much needed comfort.
Sorely doubt it though.

I think it was a wonderful ending myself Denise...letting us see Sammy's emotional devastation and contemplating what could happen next! I absolutely loved the fact that the doctor referred to Bobby as the boys daddy and Dean's reaction to it!

You know, the ending was truly awesome, because you're right, the show leaves us hanging right now. But I love what you have done, because your version is still better. Sam is torn up by guilt and Dean can't fix it, but he is doing what Sam needs, he is being there for him, pulling him close and shows him that nothing can separate them. For Sam to just move on and get over it would be disappointing because he wouldn't really regret what he has done. So it is going to be a tough road for him but with his big brother on his side, and not just walking beside him but truly walking with him, that's what will make him get through this and do the right thing in the end. You truly deserve the awards you've got and I hope there will be many more. Congrats and hugs, Vonnie

Nice ending to the story, that is what Sam needed to hear from Dean. That he would be there for him no matter what, Dean finally got his Sammy back to him the one who relies on him.
