great start, but with the whole visiting hours... they let her in the OR... they would let her stay with him... and with the whole family leaves by 2am... I spent 4 days/3 nights in the CCU when my father was dying... what is the hospital staff going to do? get a rent-a-cop to escort you out? nope.

Love Brennan's "11:30. Obviously" when Sweets asks how long she plans on doing this. Of course she would want to stay as long as she could. Interesting start; I'm looking forward to more!

As for your rant, I agree with most of it. Although I do like Sweets (mostly because I enjoy John Francis Daley), he really shouldn't be hanging around the Jeffersonian all the time like he has no other job.

And I'm adding this to my alerts because I agree that some of the writers' decisions this season need to be rationalized out and I like where you're headed with this.

This is a very very good start, she's still in character I think. I'm hopeing for another good chapter. :)
