I most certainly thought this was worth it! My daughters and I have felt for quite some time that Derek was unknowingly falling for Sarah. My oldest & I thought that maybe Jesse was just his way of staying away from Sarah. Of course totally unknowingly by Derek. Jesse made the perfect fall girl. Someone he knew from "his" past & someone he already had a strong connection to. None of us ever thought he actually "loved" Jesse. Remember when he was getting ready to time jump? He did NOT say "I love you" , he said "huloo" Austrailian for I'll see you soon. Yep, it's definet. Please continue with this. And remember, since this is your fan fic you can just skip the whole part where he gets shot!
