*thumbs Up* Okay, I gotta hand it to ya with the Chimera thing. Original, dangerous, and very, very...well, you chose a creature who I think has more oppurtunity to be called beautiful than a troll...plus it sneaks around rather than waddling with a huge club.

Over the last two weeks, I've read your entire R series and the first 5 chapters of this one. To intentionally sound cliche (though truthful): "I laughed, I cried... it moved me." I'm looking forward to the continued adventures of Vega Potter and the Malfoy twins. Also, where are the two Griffindor survivors from the final campaign? It's nice to see Gabrielle, but she wasn't around for long before.

I'm looking forward for more.

Good to finally see an update! ^^
So, obviously Vega's going to the Ouroboros chamber place... can't remember what they called it... the Snake Pit, was it? meh. That or the Raven's Nest. Most likely the former, considering he mentioned a 'room'.
I have no guesses but very vague ones for the other stuff, so I'll leave my plot musing at that.
Well written, and as always enjoyable to read. Post the next one soon please!?

i enjoyed the first series and think on the whole it was better than the origional books but you left out the beholders. looking forward to the continuation of this series good luck and good writing

I am so glad you decided to continue with your writing. I stumbled across the first book in the R-Series 3 days ago... I have only slept 6 hours since then, I read them all straight through! I am wishing that you had more done already as I am loving your style, plots and well, everything about these stories. You have a knack for adding just the right amount of humor, angst, horror and excitement in just the right places as well. You have peaked my curiosity and I cant wait to find out what really DID happen at the end of book 7. I have to admit I enjoyed your book 6 and 7 much more so than the originals. Thank you for the wonderful reads and I can't wait to read more!

Whew...holy crap. A week of powering through the R1 series all to get back to this chapter. All in all I can only say one thing: Holy crap. The original R-series was amazing. I can't really put much into words given that I want to keep this about this story and how it's progressing, but this first was...well, I can't think of the right word to put it, but superb doesn't seem to cover it well enough. Anyway, so far as this one goes it's shaping up to be as amazing as the first, your work and love for the characters shine through here, and your ideas for the series are some of the most amazing I've ever come across. I like how you started off with Vega and his comrades, it takes a new development on him...and, to be honest, it seems like it might be a bit...brighter than with what happened to Harry in the original series. Anyway, I can't say anything about the development because I can't think of anything to change. So, awesome job, and I look forward to the next chapter.

can you include a list of all the new students, and their houses at the beginning of your next chapter? it gets confusing since you have a brand new set of chars.

Nice section, and good to see Vega settling in a bit more, and will be curious as to who the bad guy'll be, as well as what this will mean for him in his Hogwarts years and beyond.

Hey, just a heads up, this might be a great story, but I (and probably many others) don't like to read stories that don't have an actual summary of what the stories are going to be about, and will end up skipping them because of that. It's cool to use the summary space to keep your readers informed of what's going on, many authors do it, but if you do that, it'd probably be best to either put the original summary at the start of chapter one, or in your profile somewhere so we know whether it's a story we would be interested in reading.
