Pretty compelling handling of his character - his story and the way he thinks. Tough luck having to meet Azula, of all people, so early.

Was that wire out of 47's arsenal...? Naw wait, he uses fibre wire. Steel trips metal detectors... And now I see the foreshadowing that doll was doing. "Wire thin tear"...

The murder was very Azula, and a good deal more bloody than I would have figured. Wonder if Azula couldn't have used Naruto better than that, though, if only as a meat-shield, bait, decoy, etc...

This story is one of the most original concepts I have ever seen and I LOVE IT. good luck

We take a turn from the dark unknown to something very 1984. The way Shinji thinks that these people he's stuck with might not be so bad indicates that they don't have a very literal deadline, or at least that Shinji doesn't know of such a thing. If that little detail was never disclosed to the public, then it's no wonder The Program has everyone thinking their country is full of homicidal lunatics...

And then Yugi's mere existence kills the mood. Damn. Perhaps it's better if you aren't familiar with his appearance and don't understand just how physics-defying that hair is.

Shinji's train of thought helps, as does the limited number of students described here, but the listing doesn't make for such riveting reading (read: need action soon).

I'm surprised to see such early character development for Gendo (compared to in NGE anyway).

Typos:

"the grisly statistics of how many killed by each gory method" - difficult sentence here IMO. I'd go with 'how many were killed in each grisly way', though "by each method appears not to be incorrect.

"talking about seeming him in the" - seeming?

'Morgue'. That really amplified the Torment: Planescape feeling. All that was missing were the zombie surgeons and a floating, sarcastic skull. And you even went with a Dark City urban environment instead of lush island nature - really brings out the dark, creeping atmosphere.

Typos:

"he could the main hub" could what?

"Could he leave now." Seems like there should have been a question mark.
