Reviews for Reciprocal Quandaries

Magnificent! I love this era (both the Troughton and the early 1900s) and enjoyed them mashed together. This could probably be an actual episode, if not for the intended era (as that was 40 years ago, I don't think a new episode with the eldery companions and late Doctor is probable) I could see this episode being done with Matt Smith and co. Hmph. The world needs more fanfics from this era!
Phantom Dennis 2/20/11 . chapter 13
This a great story that needs more attention. I'm sorry I couldn't bring myself to review every chapter. The reference to another doctor showing up made be think, we'd see a later Doctor show up after they left. Although for there to be another Jamie too, it would have to be Six during "Two Doctors".

"Hey this is nae Italy."

"Imagine That. The Doctor steering the TARDIS wrong. Never happened before," said Peri saracasticaly.

"This is that Paris Expo thing I was at with the two Bens and the two Pollys."

"Yes, Jamie," interjected the Doctor testily, "I was there. Now back into the TARDIS. We don't have time for sightseeing idle reminisces. "My Life is at stake after all."

"This new Doctor's no improvement." Jamie whispered to Peri.

"Belive me, I know the feeling," replied Peri.
Phantom Dennis 2/20/11 . chapter 3
Both Ben & Polly having identical ancestors at the same time seems a bit farfetched, especially since it's the wrong country. I thought the characterisization of two was spot on. THe Ben & Polly era really needs more love.

A delightful story-and it was wonderful to see Ben, Polly, and Jamie again! (Not to mention the second Doctor.) A well-researched historical. 10 out of 10 stars.

This is a great introduction to an interesting story, and as dr100 states you have the various aspects of the different companions down to a tee.

Plus the idea of Jamie trying to eat Candy Floss is just classic.
dr100 5/28/09 . chapter 1
You have the characters and the setting down really well, and I love the banter between Ben, Jamie, and Polly. For what you've written for each character, is as though every character is so similar to how they were on the tele.

You've also got Pats little quirks down as though he were really doing everything that you had him down doing. In short, a fantastic story that could almost be made into an actual episode.

Do continue, and am thoughrally looking forward to the next instalment.! Oh, and I love the -oo00oo- bits too. They add to the whole story!
