I agree, Gideon and Hotch were like parents to the team (obviously we know who played the softy and who always had to say 'no' and be the bad guy ;D ). Anyway they did kind of coincide, even though Gideon had more experience. Rossi is more like the quick-witted Grandad that doesn't let his Granchildren out-fox him. (One of my favorite scenes with him is in one of his first episodes when the team tries to profile him from his office and they get completely and utterly busted.

I still miss Gideon though T~T .

Awesome story, great write, loves all your stories. Ever since Rossi joint BAU, Rossi/Hotch is my top slash pair, clearly sometime Rossi comes in command of Hotch, and spanking him by Rossi make me boil. Please please write more, they’re just so perfect together.
