Great narration. People writing first person have a tendency to say 'silly' [dumb to me] things that try to make the character sound unique. You didn't do that. I am grateful.

I did like the bit about James being really...Disheveled, I guess, and Lily wanting to fix it.

As long as this isn't one of of those stories where James is utterly in love with Lily and has been 'chasing her for six years.' Really. That just alienates me, because I know that's not how it works. People have primary interests and other interests. Yeah, I 'like,' Rachel,' but I'll just as soon go out with Michelle. I think a lot of female authors forget that. I guess it all really depends on your audience, but a lot of successful TV series use 'rising tension,' like Bones.

Hard to explain. I think you know what I mean, sorry if some of this review isn't directly relevant to your story, I really need to get to sleep, though, work tomorrow. Looking forward to your update.

That was a good chapter!

I really liked Lily's reaction to waking up early, it was very funny and her mother was funny as well.

What a great role reversal at the end! James Potter reminding Lily about a meeting, I can't wait to read more, and I one day aim to find out where I can buy Pop-tarts. How many flavours are there?

The relationship between Petunia and Lily was fantastic; commplicated yet at the base of it they do love each other, I think it is very realistic.

My only two questions about it are: 1. Were there really 'pop-tarts' in England at the time when this was set as, living in England myself, I have only heard of them in fanfictions and didn't quite understand what they were until my American e-mail correspondent explained them to me, then again I may just be extremly dense and missing them in the shops if so: Sorry!

2. When will you be updating it? I can't wait to read more and I am sorry if I seem rude asking about pop-tarts, I always say such rude things to people.
