Wow! That was excellent. You're very capable at clearly displaying Gunther's many faces. Most writers on this website can not do that. Well done at giving us a view into his inner conflict, and you write his voice very well... especially the final two lines!

I really enjoyed your portrayal of Gunther in this, and having him 'reflect' on the past interactions from a new perspective was nicely done.

You're sure you're just wanting a one-shot? Really sure? Because I would LOVE to see this continued, and I know you do multi-chapter stories very well.
