Z may be a bit bratty, but saving her sister is important. Oh, he just wanted to be King, nothing unusual.
Marrying is usualy the only plan. And of course, Syd is the option taken.

Oh, and yes, I admit I thought Bridge would be a prince but if he's a blacksmith's son, that'll make things more interesting since Syd would have to marry a prince. I wonder who he is...oh, and Syd saying 'I did...I do' really does sound like Bridge.
