Good chapter. It definitely raised a few questions. I'm confused though on Bridge's morpher. Was the first metal object his morpher, or just a piece of it? I may be mistaken, but it sounds like they found it twice. That aside, I think you've done a great job at heightening the mystery and suspense.

I liked the structure of the chapter. Framing the story with Bridge and Rebecca was clever. It was a nice touch of showing the growth of their relationship. I liked the inner struggle Syd had to stay up and continue to search, even though her body wanted to sleep. Good job.

There you go again Jusea! You're really the only one who makes me love Sky/Z moments the most! I love this chapter, it really shows the growing relationship of Sky and Z. You got their characters really well.

Aww, I feel super bad for Syd! She lost (well not lost, lost) two of the people she really loves, her mom and of course, Bridge! I hope they're okay! Anyways, if they're gone, I hope if they're okay, Syd's mother could accept Bridge, since I read that she's not digging him. I hope she sees how much he cares about Syd and maybe, he'll even tell her that he cares about everyone he cares for, including her. I love Syd's thoughts when she said that she and Bridge will do everything they have in their power to get Sky and Z together.

I like the foreshadowing of perhaps Mr. Drew not being the target, but his wife. Having Bridge, possibly, being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The relationship development between Z and Sky was a change of pace. I like that Sky's recollection, his last moments before being knocked out was shared, definitely left me thinking. With no offense as to your writing ability, I did feel a little disappointed, having read the first installment and seeing the descriptivness employed, I felt like I was missing that with this chapter and was being pushed through the scenes versus being guided, if that makes sense. That aside, I think it was a good chaper. Nice job.
