Nice. But I still wonder myself what the Viscount is up to? He is certainly a nasty piece of work but his mussings sound more as if he is in love with Clarisse.
And will he have an entrance in 'Kidnap'?

Wonderful characterization in this chapter. You've captured the Queen perfectly in her response to the Viscount's request. And Joe's more physical responses to everything that seems to conspire against him? Perfect again! Loved it.

You have some wonderful turns of language in your stories. I especially like 'provacatively juicy'. It sounds like the name of Truly Scrumptious' evil twin sister.

"...everything that was her came to him unguarded by her husband´s presence" and "Had Arthur Mabrey been a postman or a construction worker, people would have called him fat. Being a nobleman and an MP, he was impressive." They are both really compelling ways of saying what your saying.

Can't wait to read what happens; you seem fearless with what you'll do with these characters.
