Very nice chapter. Who would have thought board games could be used that way? :) I loved how you melded the flashbacks into the story line without really writing them out. Joseph is so understanding and kind and really cute to our favourite Queen. Can't wait for updates (I know: I shouldn't talk. I'll finish my new chapter today or tomorrow and send it over. Promise!)

Cute! I was literally muttering 'finally' under my breath. Just a tiny remark. Women tend not to forget too easily and Clarisse will certainly have flashbacks when Joe touches or kisses her.

They seem to be getting back to their normal closeness.
I'd like to read more about both of their points of views on those few minutes before and after the kidnapper was killed too.

Another great chapter. But, what is Clarisse's recollection? Look forward to more. Once the entire story is done - then I'll go back and re-read everything.

That was absolutely amazing. I didn't think she would freak out for that reason. She is definetly coming round though. I loved the talk and how Joseph was reassuring her. I even laughed. 'Monet was too smart to finish his line.' I could see that in my mind and laughed out loud not expecting the joke and the cup was also very funny.
Will B reappear or Mia? I still think Mia should kind of find out what happened. And could be trained in self-defense or the security protocol. Well, it was just a thought.
