You have to feel sorry for Walter, forgetting everything, but Peter's turned into such a good son, so it sort of makes up for it.

Although you didn't really say exactly why Peter and Olivia couldn't be together, the sentiment behind it was very believable, so I couldn't help but agree it was impossible.

I'm OK with Walter having Alztheimer's, with it being post-war.
I'm certainly OK with Rachel being gone. I'm even OK with Mr. and Mrs. Francis having moved away.
But, 2 things-where's Astrid? How come she didn't join them for Christmas dinner? She "was" a huge part of the Fringe family.
Also, Peter & Olivia-

Yes, you imply they have been through alot but I just don't quite understand why they are the way they are in this fic.
