Tiggy the Hopeless Romantic 2009-10-26 . chapter 3Aah, this still kicks cutlass. I was worried it was dead. Good to see that it isn't!

Tiggy the Hopeless Romantic 2009-06-18 . chapter 2A splashing led her senses in the right direction and she turned around to see Tiernan making his way to her.
^^ How come I already know this conversation is going to end with me swooning or tearing up?
“Tiernan, we’re over, can’t you get that through your thick head?
^^ OK, so it's the second option? Damn.
"Oh, Tiernan, if I could only go back!”
^^ *squeak* No..
“GRANIA!”
^^ Oh, shut up Donal. If I'm going to get all worked up about fictional characters, I might as well have a chance for Tiernan to make me gooey.
“Grania! Get in here, woman, and serve my breakfast.”
^^ Frick you, Donal. (will that get past the censor, I wonder?)
He met her with a slap. “Do you know what you’ve done to my reputation, you whore?”
^^ My previous comment still applies.
“Not from you.”
But totes by Tiernan.
I can and I will change you from a cock to a hen with one shot!”
Hiya, 9-5. Not Steph's line there, though. Either way highly appropriate.
Update soon.

IamTheWitch 2009-06-18 . chapter 2There isn't another word to describe SJB's CD: orgasmic. Haha, accurate :)
Also. THIS STORY. I'm in love with it. I love Grania/Tiernan's interaction. And I hate Donal. I think Tiernan was a little too calm (I'm just too used to Tigernan, I guess. He's a bit more - raw, so to say). But anyway, I'm eager to know where this is headed. Beautiful writing, as usual :)
Please update soon! :P
Happy writing. |
IamTheWitch 2009-06-10 . chapter 1I always thought The Pirate Queen was somehow underrated. I just love the story in itself; Grania O'Malley entices me. And I cannot help but draw a parallel with Elphaba - both strong women, independent, living in a world of men, and falling in love, of all things, with a man who loves them in return without wanting them to "adjust" so society's standards. So when you mentioned how Tiernan is sort of similar to Fiyero, all I could think of was YES, SO MUCH. Because they ARE similar. And I love both Wicked and The Pirate Queen (books and musicals for both). I just love them; and to see fanfiction written about TPQ (which is rare), and in such good manner, thrills me! :)
Okay, well, I tend to rant. My point is: lovely work here. I love your Grania; strongwilled and stubborn. Donal can be a pig, as expected, but their dialogue was spot on. I wish there'd be more Tiernan/Grania (hint hint), since I love those two. This was really well written as well. Is this just a One-Shot? I'd love to see a full story develope :P. Anyway, excelent work! Favoriting ;)
Ps. 'Because I Am a Wife' is one of my favorite in the CD. So much emotion. SJB is BRILLIANT. |
HC247 2009-05-31 . chapter 1Oh, Poor Grania. Thankfully, it does get beter for her...
This was lovely and I'm guessing, becasue fo the title of this, that you've heard Stephanie J. Block's new cd (which is fabulous, as I'm sure you already know...) And you're right, The Pirate Queen was not appreciated enough.
Nice job here! |
Tiggy the Hopeless Romantic 2009-05-31 . chapter 1This is dedicated to Tiggy the Hopeless Romantic, who first compared one of my Fiyeros to Tiernan and got me started on this obsession.
^^*squee* Love you. Tiernan is Fiyero-of-the-Sea, I still say it.
She was even able to separate from her new husband, and it was only when she found herself face-to-face with Tiernan, and Dubhdara moved between them, that the heroism began to be replaced with a terrible pit in her stomach.
^^ I hate that part... guhh. Makes me cry.
“So you are female,” he observed. “That’s that with those rumors.”
^^ I want to punch him in the face even more than normal.
Grania O’Flaherty
^^ *SLAP*
Love it, love it all
