I have to say this story is amazing. Great character depth and I love the plot. I dont know much of the backstory. But its ok because with the way youve written it, you dont need to know it. Im really looking forward to the next chapter!

pretty much been a bitch since her first scene, I guess everyone
will know now why he kept it a secret.

Ahahaha! I just 'happened' to bet online at the moment of your posting, so I'm vying for the 1st review position. OH THE HUMANITY!! THIS CHAPTER RESOLVED *NONE* OF THE HEART RENDING TENSION OF THE LAST CHAPTER!! WOE IS ME!! AHRRG! That being said, thanks for the update--well written as always. I liked the multiple perspectives, spreading out all that yummy angst. I mean, your story is defined by multiple perspectives, but for whatever reason it stands out more in this chapter. I REALLY want to see the hospitals/first responders/ public/news response to everything, for which multiple perspectives would similarly work well *hint* *hint*. I'm glad there seems to be some sort of over-arching nefarious plot plan in the works and approaching, but admit that any subtly dropped hints still elude me. Reading copious amounts of fics, books, and science journals has diluted my memory of details :)

Good chapter. I like how you have Sophie stepping in when her brothers went down. She needs to be able to respond, and Lucy did good as well.

Elle's thoughts as she fought unconsciousness was well written as well. She would be confused and in pain. All in all, a good chapter. I'm looking forward to the next.
