tranquility is not a word I would associate with Skeldale, even with Mrs. Hall! Great story, just how out of control everything would have been without her. I like you All Creatures Great and Small stories and hope you will continue to write more.

It's easy to wonder what sort of state Skeldale House would have been in before the arrival of Mrs Hall - I've a good idea this could have been exactly what it was like. It's hysterical, and I could never pick out all my favourite bits because there are just too many, but I did laugh over the gritty salad served up with forceps and the thought of Tristan falling asleep in church and falling out of the pew. And a dead cat in the icebox! LOL! I could go on and on...these lads are priceless!
