I like it.

Is the "Sometimes goodbye is a second chance" a reference to the song "Second Chance" by Shinedown? Because that's what I thought of.

Despite your dislike of the shipping (which I understand, I don't really like them as much either), you did a wonderful job with pretty much everything: Fiyero's (Scarecrow's) mindless comments (especially the dislike of people in power), capturing Boq's feelings, and the general mood.

Maybe, if you don't like Gloq, you could have a backstory of Scarecrow's farm, making it also a Fiyeraba (unless you don't like that ship either, that's okay too. I just like the opportunity you've left open for a amnesaic (sp?) Scarecrow meets Wicked Elphaba...)

Keep it up!

You did a very good job with a challenge that perhaps wasn't your cup of tea. This was a nice after the fact, "what now?" piece that gave some hope for the future for Boq and Glinda. I liked this a lot. I can't wait to see the next one.

Loved the story! :D I'd love if you continued with it... I don't know how, but eh well :P I loved Boq kept saying how the scarecrow reminded him of Fiyero ;) Haha loved the story! Thanks for sharing it :D

I really like it! For saying you aren't fond of gloq, you portrayed it well. A few things: when it says 'he should tell her his real name' it goes on to describe disadavatanges; surely you mean 'shouldn't'? In no way does this poteinalmistake detract from the value of the piece; that sentence just confused me.
I particularly like this line: 'even when straightlaced was she beautiful'. I find it a lovely way of describing Glinda. I also love the portrayal of the scarecrow and how this whole thing really helps you get inside boq's head. Most gloqs end up with me being annoyed at boq; this didn't which shows (to me) how wellwritten it was. Great work!
