Gosh, I absolutely loved that. I read it earlier today and thought about it a lot. Then just now I came back and read it and sobbed all the way through.
I was Anybodys in a local production last year, when I was 12... I couldn't help but thinking of OUR Baby John and Riff on OUR set... And then I just started crying my eyes out.
GREAT job. I LOVED it. Wished there was more explaining Baby John's past... :) I'd love to hear more of how RIFF was feeling, too. You know, the emotional pain of beating one of his boys...
But I loved it. :)

It's nice when someone specifically writes the difference between abuse and discipline. I find that an important thing for people to remember, no?
