Finally. Poor Selene. I don't sure that she loves these dresses and corsets.
Sonja probably didn't like dresses too. These girls are so similar.

I really like little Michael. He is so lively and spontaneous. Very nice and brave child.

Edward also rightly call the reason of the attack - the revenge.

I don't really understand why Catherine propose the possibility of truce.
But she was right. If Victor had proposed the suitable conditions for lycans (before Sonja's death),
the coven could received good mercenaries. They could collect
tribute for Victor and defend his coven. But those conditions that he had proposed to them were mockery.
Lucian is a blacksmith? It's a bulshit. Mortal blacksmiths could do the same work, but Lucian as a warrior could deal with wild lycans. And Sonja would help him in this case.
Of corsce lycan's army would be the guarantee of her
possible future ruling as Elder vampiresse. And Elder could chose any man that she wants, couldn't she.
Victor could sleep calm for their coven.
But it is only the feeling of regret.

Catherine is really brave speaking to Victor in a such thone. Victor is a very dangerous "man".
And Victor never trusted to lycans from the very beginning.


P.S. Kraven is a miserable coward. He just could frighten the children. And Lucian will interest in Edward and Catherine. But I afraid Victor won't excuse them such thoughts.

Wow, that was some heated debate between Viktor and Catherine--I was mentally cheering for her through the whole spat. I bet she and Edward were just tempted to throttle the life on of it. Michael's input was so cute, I can totally imagine him doing that and coming to his mother's rescue. Viktor, a two-year-old has more wisdom than you, apparently...

Hah, and of course, we have Kraven being prestentious, as always. Insult the woman you're lusting after and are suppose to gain more information about--very smooth.

What a fine Lucian. I enjoyed that. ^_^ (Favourite line: "Never mind that she's married.")

I like the way of showing real nature of Kraven. Those intolerable vampire is not a warrior and a leader. He is also
irresponsible, deceitful, tactless and e.g. I don't say he is not clever and skillful but he is not the kind of person which can be trustes.
And poor Lucian. He really mourns his love Sonja. He thinks about her all free time may be. It's hard to imagine how he deals with whole war, pack and brainless Kraven. Looks like he lost at least half of himself and his heart "burned to the ground".
But how Kraven can find more information. He is not in good relashionship whis Edward and Catherine. Let see.

Haha, I can just imagine Lucian smacking Kraven's head and shouting him to focus. And of course, they're chibis in that little scene. XD

Speaking of Kraven, I was chuckling at either his compliants, raunchy remarks on Catherine (he's liking Edward's not around to hear them), and everthing else in general. I wouldn't have thought it, but now that I think about, Kraven would be interesting comic relief... ;)

Another fine, terrific chapter! I can't wait to see how Kraven plans to snoop around to find anything about Catherine and Edward and what else you in that wonderfully devious mind of yours. :D

Really nice chapter. Selene's nightmate reminds me about ghosts. What this ghost want to say? To warn Selene about danger?
And I like second part when werewolves finally from hibernation and attacked the castle. I can't understand why they do it. And also have big suspicions that Kraven (this coward) somehow knew about attack. But where was Victor? Those lycan who stopped the battle looked for something. The other main person fought very well ( I mean Selene, Jarek, Catherine and Edward. And Raze exactly took part in this attack.

FINALLY! Glad decide to allow you to update and gift us with this arse-kicking chapter!

Once more, this has been an enjoyable read and I loved every word of it! The dream Selene has was well-crafted, the bit of forshadowing was a lovely touch and the battle scene was beautifuly written! I'm such a sucker for combat scenes and I love writing them with every chance I get.

All right, Jarek's the man! I can totally picture him wearing camo and shouting out orders true sergeant-style. XD

And I bet that was Lucian who did all the roaring and told his lycans to retreat! Can't think of anyone else who's perfect enough for the job...^^

Tsk tsk, where have you gone, Kraven? Off to the wolf's den, perhaps?

I can't wait for the next chapter, this is getting intense!

Ah, that was bloody brillinat of Edward and Michael! One point for the Van Helsing family. But poor Catherine, having to listen to Kraven prattle on about his "conquests". If I were in her shoes, I'd be thinking, "Someone, please shoot me..."

Selene's thoughts of Jarek were cute, cue in for a moment of "Aw!" And I should have known Kraven would try to cope a feel from Catherine yet in front of Edward? Bad idea, pal. He's treading on thin ice there. But the Next Contestant lyrics were perfect, made me wonder what was going to happen.

Hehe, Michael is such a cutie. And you're right, he would still have his toddler speech since he's only two. Unless if he was Sheldon from the Big Bang Thoery, then he'd be speaking proper grammer while rattling off different physic theories. XD

Very well. It's a really good chapter.
These three chapters reminds me calm lull before the storm (hero Kraven, good king Victor and pretty Selene).

I love the whole greeting and revelry scenes, you painted a nice, vivid picture in my mind. And Kraven being suspcious of Michael induced a snarky comment from my mind...

But Michael is one sharp cookie, don't let Viktot near you! He's probably thinkng, "Ah! Scary man! I'll go to this nice lady over here!"

And Selene's thoughts of Jarek were so cute, it made me think, "Aw." Curse you, Kraven! *digs out the Torture Bag*

Anyway, you always pull out one amazing chapter after another, kudos for you and your awesome writing talent! :D
