Wow. Lovely, creepy, heartbreaking fic! Really, really cool twist with the failure of the test. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Usually friendship-- that you trust/value someone and someone trusts/values you-- is protrayed as a great and sacred thing by other worlds (at least in fanon. And, I think, in canon) Turning friendship into a perceived weakness is brilliant.

Also also? I love, love, love the end! :D
