This is stellar! I love your take on Pike. My favorite bits were Pike with Chekov and Kirk. Poor guys. I love the advice he gives Kirk - It doesn't mean you DON'T bleed. Just out there you're made of Teflon. And then lets Kirk decompress. He totally would've been a great dad. This is fantastic. I love it! Why you don't have more reviews is beyond me... Kudos! ^_^

*draws hearts around this story* Excellent, excellent work. (And I totally don't mind you paraphrasing a line. I may borrow one back for my next piece; the one about the 3 R's, if you don't mind!)

I really, really like your strong take on Pike, and role as a mentor (especially with Kirk), and his family-- it was awesome that you included the Aprils.

Here's hoping Pike gets another part in the next Trek movie!

I really enjoy this take on Pike - it seems much more in line with his character than most Pike fics I've seen so far. Noble, complicated, and just plain fascinating.

I thought this was excelent. You really captured what Pike might have been feeling and stayed true to his character. The only problem I have is with the military time you used. 0100 would be One O'clock in the morning, 1300 would be One P.M. Just thought you might want to know, for future referance if nothing else.

Oh, wow. This is great. I love solid character pieces, and this is definately a good character piece. I wonder, are you a fan of the Original Series? Because I'm seeing a lot of both versions of Captain Pike here, and I like it.

I hope you write more like this.

This was an awesome look at a character who I wanted to know more about! It made me laugh, and made me terribly sad too! Awesome tag to the movie, look forward to reading more of your work!
